In exchange, a tablet of legal paper which rewrites your agreements to remove loopholes if you leave it upside-down and undisturbed from dusk to dawn. Pick it up too early and you may have more loopholes than when you started.
Help please! I’m trying to figure out a fanfic I read awhile back, but I can only remember part of the opening.
Darcy and Georgiana are at Pemberley post-Wickham. They’re both miserable, meals are silent, Darcy is burying himself in estate business and Georgiana is playing dreary music. Georgiana faints one day because she hasn’t been eating enough. The doctor is summoned, suggests her favorite foods be prepared to tempt her to eat, and asks if she has had a disappointment of late. Darcy says yes, but then Georgiana tells him she isn’t upset about Wickham as much as she’s upset about disappointing Darcy, who she thinks is still angry with her. Georgiana then begins eating and playing happier music, while Darcy starts spending more time with her.
I think it is possible that the next bit involves Darcy not going to Netherfield and instead recieving letters from Bingley in which he learns about the Bennets and some of the events, which he shares with Georgiana to their amusement. He may then meet Elizabeth for the first time in Kent.
